SIOR Development Day is the biggest event of the year for UES.

This year the Western Missouri/Kansas Chapter of SIOR 29th Annual Development Day was held at Kansas City’s Union Station in September. SIOR is the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.

Furthermore, SIOR Development Day provides an unparalleled opportunity to network with industry leaders, highlight new projects, explore opportunities and celebrate successes – all in one setting. We also hosted a football toss activity and exciting giveaway opportunities. Following the event we randomly selected 3 lucky winners for our giveaways.

Paul Fogel with Karbank Real Estate Company won the Callaway golf club. Amanda Kunze with Citizens Bank & Trust won a Travis Kelce signed helmet and last but not least, Brent Parsons was very happy with his football signed by Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes. We had a wonderful time connecting with other likeminded companies & organizations around the area. Hope to see you next year!

UES joins CREW KC!

UES is proud to have our Chief Marketing Officer, Jamie Taylor, as a new member to CREW KC in 2018. Along with her member status, Jamie has also joined the program committee. She wants to lend her knowledge of conference/meeting planning and educational events to the local chapter. As an event sponsor, UES has been a long-time friend and supporter to the organization. We believe in the networking opportunities and educational offerings provided to the women working in commercial real estate are invaluable in promoting equality and advancement.

CREW KC is a non-profit organization of commercial real estate professionals affiliated nationally through membership in the CREW Network. Thus providing opportunities for networking, education, leadership development and civic/philanthropic involvement. CREW KC promotes the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Cinco de Meow Meow!

Instead of traditional Cinco de Mayo celebrations, UES is trading in Mexican food on Southwest Boulevard for the 2018 Fur Ball Gala, an evening benefiting Wayside Waifs, Kansas City’s no kill animal shelter. With funding going directly to the animals that need it most, this is a furtastic event that we are proud to support!

One more item of note, the UES mascot, Elliott, was proud to offer his assistance in personalizing the company ad in this year’s program.
